A savvy off-spinner and handy lower-order batter, Surrey captain Hannah Jones appeared in all six of the Stars' fixtures in the 2020 edition of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.

The allrounder took seven wickets, going at under four runs per over, and also chipped in with 74 runs at 14.80 with the bat.

Promoted to captain Surrey at the tender age of 19, Jones has led a youthful side from strength to strength, with the county finally beating arch-rivals Middlesex to a maiden London Cup win in 2020.

In 2019, the Surrey skipper took a T20 hat-trick against Middlesex.

The spinner had former England allrounder Beth Morgan stumped, before dismissing Emma Albery and Bhavika Gajipra with her next two deliveries.

Against the same opposition in the 2019 London Cup, the finger-spinner snared another three wickets, all stumped by Rhianna Southby.

Jones plays her club cricket at Normandy CC, has completed her Level 2 coaching qualification and is on the coaching staff at Cranleigh School.

She was selected by London Spirit for The Hundred's first season.
