Dubai International Cricket Stadium: Ground guide
Australia come into this game off the back of their mauling by England at the same venue on Saturday.
Having been stifled batting first, and after limping to a score of 125 all out from their 20 overs, the Aussies could only watch on as Jos Buttler dismantled their attack to lead England to an eight-wicket win with 50 balls to spare.
It was, however, Australia's only defeat in the competition so far and they currently sit third in Group 1 with four points from three matches.
That means the Aussies are still very much in with a shout of qualification, but lose here and they will almost certainly be unable to claw back South Africa in second place.
Bangladesh, meanwhile, have been incredibly disappointing in the Super 12 phase of the competition. Having enjoyed tremendous bilateral success on home grounds in the buildup to the tournament, they have failed to adapt in the UAE and have lost each of their four matches.
The Tigers cannot qualify for the semi-finals and will be playing for pride.
Dafabet have installed Australia as heavy favourites for this match, offering odds of 2/13. Bangladesh are available at 17/4.
Australia are still desperate to see their opening pair of David Warner and Aaron Finch come off handsomely. Both have shown flickers of form in this tournament but are not at the peak of their powers.
How Australia rebalance their batting lineup after the England debacle may be more fascinating than the individual performances of the players in this one.
Bangladesh will be hoping Mehedi Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman can cause Australia problems with the ball. After Shakib al Hasan, the pair have claimed the most wickets for the Tigers in this competition, with eight each.
Australia have some thinking to do about their middle order - specifically where to use Glenn Maxwell and whether to play Steve Smith. Mitchell Marsh may well be poised for a return having been left out to face England. There is also a case for Josh Inglis to come into the team.
Bangladesh have lost Shakib al Hasan to injury.

Minus Shakib al Hasan, even against a fallible Australia this looks a tough one for Bangladesh, particularly given dew will not be a factor. Aussie win.
