There is another new No.1 as we reach the final week of the tournament, as India, England and Australia dominate again. But who from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka make the list?
1. (6) Rohit Sharma
Made it a record-breaking five centuries for the tournament after hitting two hundreds in the vital win over Bangladesh and then against Sri Lanka, who secured India top spot in the group. There is a serene, effortless quality to the 32-year-old which has seen him stroll to the summit of the run-scoring standings.
2. (3) Jonny Bairstow
In another high-pressure situation, the Yorkshireman produced with a second century in as many matches to send England through to the last four. It was another quality display from the England opener with 106 at Chester-le-Street while having to dodge grenades in the media.
3. (2) Shakib Al Hasan
Though unable to guide Bangladesh into the semi-finals, two half-centuries underlined the allrounders' status as one of the stand-out figures at this World Cup. Not as influential with the ball as he has been previously but that was made up for with two half-centuries, though his dismissal against India eventually led to a damaging defeat.
Jonny Bairstow hit a second century in as many games for a desperate England
4. (9) Shaheen Afridi
Continued to make a mockery of Pakistan's decision not to start the tournament with him among their attack with another spate of wickets. This time he became the first to herald from the 1992 winners to claim six wickets in a World Cup innings after he took 6-35 to run through Bangladesh at Lord's. The 19-year-old left-arm seamer is a hugely exciting prospect for the future and the latest off the Pakistan production line of fast bowlers.
5. (10) David Warner
Though it was not in a winning cause, Warner produced another battling display to go to a third century of the competition against South Africa. As wickets fell around him once again it was another battling, dogged innings which while devoid of the attacking brilliance of old was brimming with character and fortitude.
6. (-) Mustafizur Rahman
The Bangladesh bowler took successive five-wicket hauls in arguably his country's biggest two grudge matches against India and Pakistan. Among the clutch of scalps was Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni in what was one of the most intense spells of fast bowling the tournament has seen. But the stand-out dismissal came as he caught and bowled Shadab Khan in the defeat to Pakistan, produced a superb left-handed grab.

7. (1) Mitchel Starc
Down the pecking order from last week's No.1 spot after taking 2-59 against South Africa. Gave Australia hope with some sound swings of the bat in the run chase before a flurry of late wickets curtailed their hopes. Will be the premier threat to England reaching the final.
8. (-) Jasprit Bumrah
In the great debate over the premier fast bowler left in this competition, Bumrah is surely the leading candidate for that title. The India paceman has proven himself adept with the new ball but it is in the latter overs where he has proven himself to be adept, unleashing his vicious yorkers at the death to secure a spate of vital India wins.
9. (7) Jofra Archer
One of the lower-key weeks of his international career after taking just 1-17 against New Zealand. He took a vital wicket in dismissing Martin Guptill but thereafter benefitted from some desperate batting from the Kiwis to supplement his figures, finishing with 31 dot balls.
Jasprit Bumrah has taken 17 wickets in this World Cup
10. (-) Nicholas Pooran
One of the best discoveries from this World Cup and he finally converted his talent with a fabulous century against Sri Lanka at Chester-le-Street. Followed that up with his second half-century in the win over Afghanistan. As the Windies pick apart their disastrous World Cup campaign, Pooran is one of the few positives to emerge from it.
11. (-) Avishka Fernando
Continues to make a mockery of the decision not to start him earlier in the competition with a maiden ODI century against the West Indies in Durham. Has the wrists and the flamboyance to rival any top order Sri Lankan player, Fernando has the talent to make himself a star of this team for years to come, even if his World Cup journey is now at an end.
