Ella Telford started playing cricket as a 10-year old in Cumbria before working her way through the Lancashire age groups.

Relocating to Leeds for university - she is studying sports and exercise therapy at Leeds Beckett – Telford now represents Yorkshire at county level and was part of the Diamonds squad which reached the final of the 2020 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.

Before focussing on cricket, Telford was a talented heptathlete, competing at national level.
