Hobart Hurricanes v Perth Scorchers in the 12th game of the 2021-22 Big Bash.
The game is set for Tuesday, December 14. The first ball will be bowled at 7:15pm local time (8:15am GMT).
The game will be held at Hobart's Blundstone Arena.
Perth Scorchers are the only side remaining in the Big Bash with an unbeaten record, having won both of their opening two games.
They started with a narrow six-run victory over Brisbane Heat before thrashing Adelaide Strikers last time out.
Thanks to Colin Munro's brilliant century they made 195 for 1 from their 20 overs as the Strikers were put to the sword.
Jason Gillespie's side were eventually bowled out for 146 in the chase.
Hobart Hurricanes have won one and lost one from their two matches, but thanks to their bonus point gains sit fifth in the table with a game in hand over the sides around them.
Their only matches have come against defending champions Sydney Sixers, losing the opener by 14 runs before claiming a 44-run success in the rematch.
That revenge mission was helped by an inspired 93 from Matthew Wade as the Hurricanes made 213 for 2 from their full allocation.
Sixers were set an adjusted total but never came close, finishing on 151 for 4 as Joel Paris collected three wickets.
These sides have met 15 times in all, with Scorchers prevailing on nine occasions including in each of the last three.

Ashton Agar didn't have the role at the T20 World Cup that he perhaps envisaged, losing his place after the thumping loss to England as Justin Langer sought to strengthen the batting.
That should not detract from Agar's ability to keep things tight with his left-arm spin. Since 2018, his economy rate (6.55) is better than Josh Hazlewood, Adam Zampa, Pat Cummins or Mitchell Starc in T20Is. His BBL career has seen him take 35 wickets in 53 matches, going at 7.33 an over.
He'll likely have the chance to go up against Tim David, the man of the moment in T20 cricket. After lashing his way into the consciousness of world cricket during BBL 10, he went on to earn deals in the PSL, The Hundred, the CPL and IPL before returning to Australia shores.
Having failed in his two innings so far he'll be keen to ensure the last 12 months hasn't been a one-off. He's already assured of a return to the PSL with Multan Sultans after being picked up in Sunday's draft and could make more gains in the men's T20 Player Index - he's currently No.166 - if he can back up last season's performance.
Gerard Abood and Anthony Wilds are the men in the middle for this one.
An overcast evening in Hobart is expected, with temperatures sitting at around 16 degrees Celsius. There is a 13 per cent chance of rain.

The Scorchers come into the game in fine form but Hurricanes have already beaten the reigning champions. Expect the visitors to land a tight win.
