Hobart Hurricanes take on Melbourne Renegades in the 2021-22 Big Bash season.
The game is scheduled for 8:15pm local time (9:15am GMT) on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
The game will be held at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne.
With two games remaining in their BBL11 group stage campaign, Hobart Hurricanes are in pole position to secure the final playoff position.
Matthew Wade's side are fifth in the table and sit three points clear of sixth-placed Melbourne Stars, whom they face in their final fixture on January 19.
A win, regardless of whether or not they earn a Bash Boost point, will secure qualification while even a bonus point should be enough thanks to their superior net run rate. If they fail to pick up any points on Tuesday, they will head into Wednesday's clash with everything to play for.
The Hurricanes have struggled for consistency since the New Year, winning two and losing three of their five matches. Facing Melbourne Renegades, however, they should feel confident of picking up at least three points.
The Melbourne side have won just three of their 12 matches to date and are battling Brisbane Heat to avoid the dreaded wood spoon. Nic Maddinson's side haven't won a match since January 6 and have failed to pass 130 runs in five of their eight defeats.
In the reverse fixture, Hobart Hurricanes cruised to an 85-run victory thanks to a century from Ben McDermott.

The challenge for Melbourne Renegades is restricting Hobart Hurricanes' free-scoring top order.
Ben McDermott is the current golden bat and has 513 runs (two centuries, two half-centuries) at a strike rate of 154.51. He's in a bit of a lean patch, scoring just one half-century in his past five innings, but has already smashed 127 runs (65 balls) passed the Renegades this season.
Matthew Wade has scored 260 runs at a strike rate of 142.07 and scored 83 not out in his most recent outing. And while Caleb Jewell only has 143 runs (strike rate 140.19), he also heads into the match off the back of a half-century, scoring 51 off 32 balls against Sydney Thunder.
Unfortunately for the Renegades, they will be without leading wicket-taker Kane Richardson, who hasn't been included in their 13-player squad. Of players to bowl more than 20 overs for the Renegades, he also has the lowest economy. It could be a rough day for the bowlers.
Elsewhere, Tom Rogers will be looking to add to his team-leading 15 wickets for the Hurricanes while Aaron Finch will be targeting a strong finish to his Renegades campaign. Australia's white-ball captian needs just three runs to overtake Mackenzie Harvey as the club's leading run-scorer in BBL11.
Umpires will appear here when available.
Cloudy conditions are expected in Melbourne with temperatures hovering around the high teens.
