DOB: May 23, 2003

Role: Right-arm medium, right-hand bat

After two years of the regional structure, no one had taken more wickets for Sunrisers than Sonali Patel, the teenage seamer, whose haul included a hat-trick against Thunder in 2021.

Patel made her county debut in 2018 for Middlesex, and she became an ever-present member of that side in the following year.

She first represented Sunrisers in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy of 2020, featuring in every game during the shortened Covid summer.

As well as her seven wickets in the 2021 tournament, she picked up three in the Charlotte Edwards Cup.
