Batting allrounder Thea Brookes joined the Warwickshire set-up in 2017 and was central to their 2019 T20 Cup-winning squad.

Before linking up with Sparks, she represented Yorkshire Diamonds, Loughborough Lightning and Southern Vipers in the Kia Super League, scoring 273 runs and taking three wickets.

A talented multi-sports star, Brookes has also played netball at regional level.

She made three appearances for Sparks in 2020, scoring 10 runs, but established herself as a first-team regular in 2021, making 10 appearances in all formats. She scored 140 runs, including a high-score of 33 in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, from the middle order.

She was selected for Birmingham Phoenix in the inaugural edition of The Hundred but did not make an appearance.
