Clare Boycott was Sparks’ leading wicket-taker in 2020, amassing eight dismissals at 20 runs apiece in five appearances.

She added a further four wickets to her name in the 2021 Charlotte Edwards Cup but went wicketless in 50-over cricket.

Prior to joining Sparks in 2020, she played Grade A cricket in Australia and won a BUCS championship at Lord’s with Loughborough MCCU.

A Worcestershire native, Boycott is the county’s record appearance holder with over 130 matches under her belt and trained alongside Worcestershire CCC fast bowler Josh Tongue as a youngster.
