Peshawar Zalmi take on Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League.
The game is set for Sunday, January 30. The first ball will be bowled at 2:30pm local time (9:30am GMT).
The game will be held at the National Stadium in Karachi.
There is rarely an edition of PSL where one of these sides does not make an impact. Islamabad United are the most successful side in the tournament's history, taking home the trophy on two occasions, while Peshawar Zalmi have never failed to make the play-offs, winning the tournament once and three times finishing as runners-up.
Both made it past the group stages last tournament, with Islamabad United topping the table, winning eight games out of 10.
Zalmi won half their games, and finished third in the group stage.
The sides met in the initial play-off game last tournament, with Zalmi chasing down Islamabad’s 174 with 19 balls to spare. They then won a tightly contested match against Karachi Kings, winning with one ball to spare, but ultimately fell to Multan Sultans in the final.
Islamabad are gearing up for their first game in this year’s tournament, whereas Zalmi have already played and won, chasing down Quetta Gladiators’ 190 in the final over, with each of the top six batsmen chipping in towards the total.

Top-order batting, as always in T20 cricket, will be one of the main factors in this game, and each side has some explosive batters with their ranks.
Peshawar Zalmi are boosted by Yorkshire bat Tom Kohler-Cadmore, who arrives off the back of a top Abu Dhabi T10 tournament. The 27-year-old hit the fifth-highest run total in the tournament, striking at 200.00, and hit a high score of 96 in just 39 balls.
Along with the Englishman, Zalmi have Pakistan stalwart Shaoib Malik, who captains the side. The experienced campaigner is in possession of a T20 average of 36.47, and has hit over 10,000 runs in the format.
Islamabad may have even more fire power in their top order, franchise T20 ever-present Alex Hales has hit five T20 tons, and strikes the ball at just shy of 150.
He is joined by Irishman Paul Stirling, undoubtedly his countries greatest T20 export. The opening-batsman has a highest score of 115 not out in domestic T20s.
And if those two don’t get you, there’s a good chance New Zealander Colin Munro will. The big-hitting Kiwi has hit 47 domestic T20 half-centuries, as well as five centuries.
