South African batter Brevis also enjoyed a successful IPL, lightning up Mumbai Indians’ poor campaign with 161 runs at a strike rate of 142.47. The pick of his performances came against Punjab Kings when he scored a 25-ball 49.
Fellow South African Dwaine Pretorius, a bowling allrounder, and 18-year-old Izharulhaq Naveed, who represented Afghanistan at the Under-19s World Cup in the Caribbean earlier this year, have also been recruited by the Patriots.
St Kitts & Nevis Patriots have five more spots to fill, which will be revealed during a draft show on July 7.
