Georgia Redmayne played a pivotal part in Brisbane Heat's victory

Redmayne struck six fours in her unbeaten knock, and shared in a partnership with Grace Harris for the first wicket worth 68, while Jess Jonassen's cameo of 19 from six balls at the death left the required rate at more than eight runs per over.

It laid a foundation for Heat to complete a comfortable victory.

Perth lost Beth Mooney to the bowling of Nicola Hancock for a first-ball duck and never recovered.

Sophie Devine's 18 was the top individual score, matched by extras, as Hancock and Harris each claimed three wickets.

The Scorchers were bowled out with 2.4 overs of their allocation remaining.
