Delhi Capitals take on Punjab Kings in the 11th match of the 2021 IPL.
The game is scheduled for 7.30pm IST (3pm BST) on Sunday, April 17, 2021.
Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium is hosting the game.
Delhi Capitals will be wondering how they don't have two wins from two after thumping Chennai Super Kings in their opening game but then failing to see out victory over Rajasthan Royals in their second.
Royals were 104 for 7 in pursuit of 148 but Chris Morris struck an awesome 36 from 18 balls to help overcome last season's runners-up.
The chasm between the performances in the first and second games has been larger for Punjab Kings, however, who were insipid as they were turned over CSK.
Managing just 106 for 8 from their 20 overs, they were beaten by six wickets with more than four wickets remaining; giving both sides identical records coming into the game.
Dafabet are backing DC to collect their second win of the competition at 7/10, with Punjab Kings the underdogs at 11/10.
Prithvi Shaw is a favourable 3/1 to be Capitals' top run-scorer in the match, and you can back Chris Gayle at the same price to do the same for Kings.
And if you fancy a flutter in one of the special markets, the highest score in the first over market sees DC available at 21/20 and PK at 6/5.
Rishabh Pant was appointed Capitals skipper ahead of the tournament, with head coach Ricky Ponting admitting the India keeper-batter had plenty of learning on the job to do.
That was perhaps exposed against Royals when he failed to bowl out Ravichandran Ashwin and instead gave the struggling Tom Curran his full allocation. So there will be plenty of attention on the leadership skills of the otherwise hugely talented Pant.
Meanwhile, it has not been the start of the IPL that Nicholas Pooran, the T20 Player Index No.28, would have envisaged with ducks in his opening two innings for Kings.
And even more worryingly, having looks suspectable to short-pitched bowling he faces Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Norjte, who will almost certainly deploy similar tactics in order to unnerve him.
After a Covid-19 scare, Nortje is back in contention for DC having missed the opening two games. Since testing positive he had return three negative tests and has joined up with his teammates.
Axar Patel has also been missing, with Shams Mulani enlisted as a temporary replacement.
Kings are unlikely to tinker hugely with their XI but might consider Ravi Bishnoi ahead of Murugan Ashwin, who has gone for 75 in the opening two games.
The two teams have played each other 26 times.
Punjab Kings wins: 15
Delhi Capitals win: 11
Temperatures are expected to hit 32 degrees Celcius in Mumbai, with clear skies meaning a full and interrupted game should be possible.
No, this match will be played behind closed doors owing to the Covid-19 situation in India.
Capitals have made a decent start to the competition and should be two from two. They are strong favourites here against a Kings side still finding its feet.
