The Mumbai Indians pair clear the boundary five times between them against Sunrisers Hyderabad
Rohit Sharma became India's biggest six-hitter in IPL history in Mumbai Indians' clash with Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The opener hit two maximums during his innings of 32 from 25 deliveries.
That knock including the 217th time Rohit had cleared the rope in the franchise competition - more than any Indian in the history of the tournament.
He went above Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni, who has 216, in his 203rd outing.
The 33-year-old is now only behind Chris Gayle (351) and AB de Villiers (237) in the all-time standings, having climbed into third place.
Meanwhile, Kieron Pollard became just the sixth player to reach 200 IPL sixes after a breezy knock at the death in Chennai.
The West Indian hammered 35 from 22 balls and climbed into three sixes, including one which soared 102 meters.
Pollard moved onto 201 sixes in 167 matches, all of which have been for five-time winners Mumbai Indians. Virat Kohli (201) is the only other player to reach the landmark.
