Sunrisers Hyderabad meet Rajasthan Royals in the 2021 Indian Premier League.
The game is scheduled for 6pm UAE (3pm BST, 7.30pm IST) on Monday, September 27, 2021.
The two sides will meet at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are out, having endured a shocking time of it this year, winning just once in nine games, with a team overreliant on the runs of David Warner bearing the brunt of his poor form. Jonny Bairstow's withdrawal from this rearranged segment has left them even lighter in that department, while much rests on the shoulders of Rashid Khan.
They were roundly beaten by Delhi Capitals on Wednesday, before throwing away a glorious opportunity against Punjab Kings on Saturday, when they fell five runs short of a modest chase of 125.
Rajasthan came out on the right end of a tight affair against Punjab, winning by two runs. They were similarly wasteful in their other encounter, however, restricting Delhi to 154 on Saturday but falling well short on a blameless surface.
Rajasthan Royals are heavily fancied to win this one, with Dafabet offering odds of 8/11. Sunrisers Hyderabad are available at 11/10.
Dafabet are backing Jason Roy to top-score for Sunrisers Hyderabad, offering odds of 13/5. His compatriot Liam Livingstone is available at 5/2 for Rajasthan Royals.
It will be interesting to see whether Jason Roy comes into Sunrisers' side, given the woeful form of David Warner, who has scored two runs since the competition restarted earlier this month. Rashid Khan is always one to watch, wherever he goes, while Abdul Samad is a youngster with a big future.
For Royals, Liam Livingstone is the man of the moment. He needs to come good for their sake, without the talents of Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes or Jofra Archer.
Sunrisers Hyderabad have signed 21-year-old medium-pacer Umran Malik as a Covid-19 replacement for T Natarajan, who is in isolation after testing positive before the defeat against Delhi Capitals.
Malik has been with the Sunrisers team as a net bowler in the UAE. Allrounder Vijay Shankar and bowler G Periyaswamy were both identified as his close contacts.
The two teams have played each other 14 times.
Sunrisers Hyderabad wins: 7
Rajasthan Royals wins: 7
Temperatures are set to hit 37 Celsius at the start of this game.
