Royal Challengers Bangalore meet Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2021 Indian Premier League.
The game is scheduled for 6pm UAE (3pm BST, 7.30pm IST) on Wednesday, October 6, 2021.
The two sides will meet at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
After starting the second half of the IPL with two defeats, Royal Challengers Bangalore are now looking to extend their winning streak to four matches and draw level on points with second-placed Chennai Super Kings. In their most recent outing, Virat Kohli's side defeated Punjab Kings by six runs.
Sunrisers Hyderabad, by contrast, are already eliminated from the IPL and condemned to finish bottom of the table for the first time in their history. Kane Williamson's side have won just two matches this season and lost to Kolkata Knight Riders by six wickets in their last match.
In the reverse fixture, Royal Challengers Bangalore edged a tight encounter, winning by six runs.
Dafabet are backing Royal Challengers Bangalore to win this fixture, offering odds of 1/2. Sunrisers Hyderabad are at 6/4 to win.
Kohli is the narrow favourite to top-score for RCB, with odds of 2/1, while Devdutt Padikkal and Glenn Maxwell are available at 5/2 and 3/1, respectively.
For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Williamson is at 23/10 to lead the way with the bat.
Without wishing to sound like a broken record, it's hard to look beyond Glenn Maxwell in the RCB squad. The Australian, who is ranked second on the T20 Player Index, has scored three half-centuries in a row for Kohli's side, most recently striking 57 runs off just 33 balls against Punjab Kings. Maxwell now has 407 runs at a strike rate of 145.35 in this year's tournament and after five innings without a 30+ knock, he has rediscovered his batting mojo just in time for the business end of the IPL - and the World T20!
With the ball, RCB's leading wicket-taker Harshal Patel has been on fire since arriving in the UAE, taking eight wickets in five innings and bowling best figures of 4 for 17.
For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rashid Khan has been typically impressive with the ball, taking a team-leading 15 wickets and conceding just 6.16 runs per over. Against KKR, he collected figures of 1 for 23 as Sunrisers attempted to defend 115 but was powerless beyond that. If Wiliamson's side can bowl first against RCB and Khan bowls a miserly allocation, Sunrisers may stand a chance.
RCB have only made one change to their XI in their past three matches, swapping Kyle Jamieson for George Garton, and are likely to stick with team which beat Punjab Kings on Sunday.
Priyam Garg and Abhishek Sharma are likely to continue in the middle order for Sunrisers, who promised to experiment with their team selection in their final few matches. Umran Malik could also retain his spot, in place of Sandeep Sharma, after posting figures of 0 for 27 against KKR. Andre Russell (injured) is a doubt.
The two teams have played each other 19 times.
