Rajasthan Royals meet Mumbai Indians in the 2021 Indian Premier League.
The game is scheduled for 6pm UAE (3pm BST, 7.30pm IST) on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.
The two sides will meet at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah.
It's a must-win game for both sides in Sharjah. Rajasthan Royals sit sixth in the table, two points outside the playoff places while defending champions Mumbai Indians are on place further back in seventh. The two teams are separated by net run rate.
Rajasthan Royals haven't enjoyed the best of form in the UAE, losing three of the their five matches since the IPL's resumption. However, they head into Tuesday's match with winning momentum after chasing down 189 to defeat Chennai Super Kings.
Mumbai Indians, meanwhile, have lost four of their five matches in the UAE, most recently suffereing a four-wicket defeat at the hands of Delhi Capitals.
In the reverse fixture, Mumbai Indians won by seven wickets.
Dafabet have installed Mumbai Indians as the favourites to win this match, offering odds of 7/10. Rajasthan Royals are available at 11/10.
Sanju Samson has been backed to top-score for Rajasthan Royals, with odds of 11/4, while Rohit Sharma is at 5/2 to top-score for Mumbai Indians.
Sanju Samson has been far and away Rajasthan Royals' best batter this season, scoring a team-leading 480 runs. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal laid down a marker of his talents against CSK, scoring fifty runs off 21 balls and sharing a 77-run partnership with Evin Lewis off just 5.2 overs. It was his maiden half-century and took the 19-year-old to 237 runs - scored at a strike rate of 151.92 - for the season. Not bad for a player ranked 933rd on the T20 Player Index.
For Mumbai Indians, Suryakumar Yadav finally showed some form with the bat against Delhi Capitals, posting 33 runs off 26 balls to top-score for his side. However, the player who is standing out for Mumbai at present is bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile, who has maintained a tidy economy of 6.08 in his three appearances in the UAE. The 33-year-old is forced to bowl at irregular intervals in the Mumbai Indians squad to accommodate Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah but has adapted well to his role.
Liam Livingstone was removed from Rajasthan's top order after scoring just 36 runs in four appearances and will likely remain on the bench following the performances of Samson, Lewis, Jaiswal and co. against CSK.
Both sides are expected to be full strength.
The two teams have played each other 24 times.
