The men's county calendar for 2021 is complete following the release of fixtures for this year's T20 Blast and Royal London Cup competitions.

The Blast will begin on June 9, returning to its 14-match group-stage format with the counties split into two pools along geographic lines. The group stage will conclude on July 18.

Finals Day at Edgbaston is confirmed for September 18, with the quarter-finals due to take place on four consecutive days in late August.

Sky Sports will broadcast a game on each of the first four days of the tournament, including two derby matches - Middlesex against Surrey and Sussex Sharks against Hampshire.

The fixture list fills up much of June and July, ahead of the inaugural edition of The Hundred - which is earmarked to fill a month in late July and through August.

The Hundred schedule has yet to be released, while fans of women's cricket will have to wait a little longer for the Rachael Heyhoe Flint and regional T20 fixture lists.

The schedule for the county 50-over competition, which will run concurrently with The Hundred, has been confirmed, however.

The 18 first-class counties have been drawn into two groups for the event, which was cancelled in 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Group A consists of Essex, Worcestershire, Sussex, Middlesex, Kent, Durham, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, and Lancashire.

Group B features Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Glamorgan, Yorkshire, Surrey, Warwickshire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, and Somerset.

Teams will play a total of eight matches in the group stage, which will run from July 22 until August 12.

The knockout stage of the tournament will be condensed into five days, with the final set to take place at Trent Bridge on Thursday, August 19.

In advance of the Royal London Cup, each of the first-class counties will take on a National County in 50-over matches which will not have List A status.
