Rain ruined the second game of the Women's Ashes series in Adelaide, as Australia and England were left to settle for a point apiece.

Just 4.1 overs of play were possible at the Adelaide Oval before the game was abandoned at around 3.30pm local time.

In the action that did take place, England reached 24 without loss having been asked to bat.

Following Australia's victory in the opening match of the series, the hosts currently lead 3-1 in the multi-format campaign.

The third and final T20 between the sides is scheduled to take place at the same venue on Sunday.
