Scorecard

Jamaica Tallawahs cemented their place in the Caribbean Premier League play-off places as Trinbago Knight Riders were beaten again in St Lucia.

Imad Wasim hit a quick-fire 21 and took 2 for 20 with the ball to help secure victory by 34 runs at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium.

Tallawahs were in trouble after being inserted, being reduced to 31 for 3 as Ravi Rampaul rolled back the years for 3 for 40.

But Rovman Powell (67) and Raymon Reifer (28) put on 90 for the fourth wicket before Imad's late cameo of three fours and a six.

The TKR chase started with the dismissal of Sunil Narine three balls in and never really recovered.

Colin Munro top-scored with 29 from 30, a sedate innings that typified their struggles.

Andre Russell threatened to change the momentum of the contest, thrashing two sixes but was bowled by Wasim trying a slog sweep.

The Pakistan allrounder returned in the 17th over to get rid of Rampaul as the Knight Riders' innings fell apart at the seams.

They would eventually finish on 119 for 8, losing by 34 runs to extend their winless run to three.

Meanwhile, Tallawahs are second in the table with three wins four and just two points behind runaway leaders Barbados Royals.
