What's the match?

Trinbago Knight Riders take on Barbados Royals in the 2022 Caribbean Premier League.

When is it taking place?

The match is scheduled to take place at 7pm local time (GMT-5) on Tuesday, September 13.

Where is the match being played?

This game is due to be staged at the Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad.

Who's got the form?

It's hard to find two teams with more contrasting form. Barbados Royals sit at the top of the table, unbeaten in five matches and with a four-point cushion over second place. TKR, meanwhile, are languishing at the foot of the table, with one win from four matches. That win came against St Lucia Kings on September 1.

Runs and wickets have been easy to come by for the Royals, with Kyle Mayers, Corbin Bosch, Quinton de Kock and David Miller all in triple figures for the season and all with a half-century to their name. Mayers and Bosch have two 50-plus knocks apiece. Obed McCoy leads the way with the ball, collecting seven wickets, while Jason Holder has six.

For TKR, Tion Webster (70 runs) and Tim Seifert (50 runs) are the only players with 50-plus runs for the tournament while Akeal Hosein remains his side's best bowler - four wickets and an economy of 3.25 - despite not featuring since the opening match.

What's the match-up to watch?

TKR have a stacked batting line-up, with Colin Munro, Seifert, Andre Russell, Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Pooran, and Sunil Narine all at their disposal. However, they have failed to fire in epic fashion this year, scoring a combined 184 runs - Mayers has more than that (206) on his own.

When the two sides met earlier in the competition, TKR limped to 51 for 7 before the rain set in, with Oshane Thomas, Obed McCoy and Devon Thomas picking up two wickets apiece and Jason Holder in miserly form.

Will TKR fare any better on home soil?

What's the news from the camps?

Akeal Hosein sustained an injury in TKR's season opener, twisting his leg in the field, and hasn't featured since.

Maheesh Theekshana has also been absent for the four-time champions due to his commitments in the Asia Cup.
