The Hundred announces collaboration with BBC Music

Six live performers have been confirmed by tournament organisers, along with resident DJs and matchday presenters at each of the eight venues

As The Hundred the competition draws ever closer organisers have announced a collaboration with the BBC to bring live music to venues across the country this summer.

Artists will perform in front of fans this summer as sport and entertainment collide at each of the eight venues.

The Orielles, Jerub, Lady Sanity, Oscar Welsh, Coach Party and Rachel K Collier have been confirmed to appear at eight matches, with more acts to be announced. Fans will be able to enjoy performances live and via the TV coverage provided by BBC and Sky television

Furthermore, selected DJs will also be stationed at each of the eight grounds and will put together playlists to suit each city and occasion. Walk-on music and sounds to accompany the action will also be on offer.

The Hundred Rising has created opportunities for 100 people to become involved with producing the competition. As part of the scheme, eight promising presenters will co-host at grounds alongside seasoned professionals throughout the summer.
