Where is the match being played?

Every game in the 2021 Caribbean Premier League is being held at Warner Park on St Kitts, in an effort to minimise the Covid-19 risk to the tournament.

Who’s got the form?

The Tallawahs come into this game with two victories and one defeat - their victory being seriously emphatic. Having racked up a stunning 255 against St Kitts and Nevis, seeing them to a comfortable win , their batting unit wasn't able to replicate that form last time out against Barbados Royals, as none of the top four batsmen recorded more than ten, falling to defeat. On August 31, they got back at the Royals in the return fixture, as they swept a target of 151 with a comfortable 14 balls to spare, despite three single-digit scores in the top-order.

The Patriots have got their campaign off to a perfect start with three wins out of three. Their last two, against the Guyana Warriors, saw them take victory having batted second, chasing down targets of 146 nd 166 with plenty of time to spare. They will be fancying themselves to go four from four after this game, with solid performances all round with both bat and ball to see them so far undefeated.

Who to watch?

Of course, Andre Russell is an obvious case to take the spotlight in whichever game he plays. The all-rounder recorded a stunning 50 off just 14 balls, which included six sixes - the top four finishing just three, two, five and 12 away from a half-century each. The opening pair of Walton and Kennar ewis will want to fire again, and quickly forget the frustration of their last defeat. Against the Royals on Tuesday, Lewis did the trick, racking up 89 off just 53 balls - his partnership with Shamarh Brooks was enough to get his side over the line comfortably.

There's plenty of force within the Patriots' bowling, however, including the veteran Sheldon Cottrell, who has taken three wickets so far, but it has been Dominic Drakes who has stormed into notability with his performances so far. He took 2-13 in the opening game and followed that up with three more against the Warriors, something he will be willing to replicate with his deadly left-arm seam, with an inswinging ball that has been built perfectly for T20.

With the bat, the Patriots have more than enough damage-makers in the middle order. Sherfane Rutherford impressed last time out, with 58 runs coming off 34 balls, but they can thank their steady openers of Devon Thomas and Evin Lewis, who both recorded 30s at just over a run per ball, for setting the foundation.
