Security has been tightened around the New Zealand women's squad in Leicester after the ECB received a threat to New Zealand Cricket.
The White Ferns arrived at their hotel in the East Midlands on Monday, ahead of Tuesday's one-day international at Grace Road, to find additional measures in place following the ECB's receipt of a threatening email.
The threat has been investigated and, according to a NZC statement, found not to be credible.
The incident comes days after New Zealand's men pulled out of their white-ball tour of Pakistan following a government security alert, and hours after the ECB announced neither the men's nor the women's trips to Pakistan, scheduled to take place next month, will go ahead.
England Women are set to face New Zealand at Leicester on Tuesday
In a statement, the ECB claimed that the decision had been made by the governing body's board for reasons of mental health and physical wellbeing, as well as the perceived safety of the region.
England's women are 2-0 up in the five-match ODI series, having won the opening fixtures by 30 runs and 13 runs respectively.
The third fixture at Leicester on Tuesday is not believed to be in danger of postponement or cancellation following the threat.
