Before founding Mettle Cricket, Asser Malik, served as General Manager of High Performance in the Pakistan Cricket Board, helped to establish Pakistan Super League's, Multan Sultans, and managed top athletes as a sports agent.
After a decade of working with professional cricket teams, amateur players and sport enthusiasts, Malik wondered why most cricket wear fitted poorly and looked worse. Thus, Mettle Cricket was born - high quality sportswear combining performance with style.
Malik explains: "These are clothes for people who love sports and care about style. Our goal is to make the world's best cricket whites and clothes that can be worn for tennis, golf or everyday life."

Not only have Mettle managed to make strides in the game through their stylish and comfortable cricket apparel, they also recently brought on board Cheteshwar Pujara of India and Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Abbas of Pakistan as Mettle ambassadors. Putting aside the intense rivalry between the two nations, rostering players from both India and Pakistan under the Mettle umbrella represents quite the coup.
They joined Ben McDermott of Australia, and England trio Dan Lawrence, Olly Stone and James Vince to launch the brand's new range at Mill Hill School in Middlesex. Dressed in the brand's signature cable-knit, v-neck sweater vest and polyester-elastane blend, salt-white polo and trousers, players demonstrated the durability, mobility and comfort of Mettle Cricket’s line.
Malik adds, "players in any country should have access to good style and great performance. We were delighted to bring together this group of international cricket stars to try out our clothing."
Pujara describes the clothing as, "the most comfortable cricket clothing I have ever worn - the sweater was great to wear off the field too."
"As a bowler, it's hard to find clothes that offer full range of motion that aren't baggy," England player, Olly Stone, adds. "These were just what I was looking for."
