Northern Superchargers sign Dane Vilas as cover for Faf du Plessis

Dane Vilas has signed for Northern Superchargers as a temporary replacement for Faf du Plessis.
Du Plessis has been ruled out of the first three matches of the competition with concussion symptoms.
Vilas, who was picked up by Manchester Originals in the first draft for The Hundred but was subsequently dropped in the redraft owing to the change in Kolpak rules making him ineligible as a domestic signings, will be available for the game against Trent Rockets on Monday.
The Lancashire captain will therefore miss Royal London One-Day Cup matches against Gloucestershire and Kent.
Tom Bailey will skipper the county in the South African's absence.
Du Plessis was parachuted into the Superchargers setup as captain following the withdrawal of Aaron Finch.
He sustained a concussion during the PSL six weeks ago, the impact of which is still concerning the medical staff at his Hundred club.
