The Cricketer runs down the who, what, where, when, why, how much, which channel and how wet will it be for the fourth game of the tournament…
The fourth game of the 2019 Cricket World Cup; Afghanistan face Australia.
The match is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 1, starting at 13:30pm (BST).
The match will be played at Bristol, where Pakistan posted 358 against England and still ended up losing the match by six wickets as the hosts knocked it off with 31 deliveries to spare.
Australia have their big guns back
The buzz around Australia is that they “are peaking at the right time”. Justin Langer has the returning pair of Steve Smith and David Warner at his disposal. With those two in the squad, Australia have got every chance of going far in this competition. Former Test captain Smith is in decent form, having scored a hundred against England at Southampton while Warner - who hit 43 in that match - is coming off the back of a blistering IPL campaign.
For Afghanistan, Rashid Khan is the one every wants to see. The 20-year-old spinner comes into the tournament with 125 ODI wickets at an average of 15.33.
18-year-old Mujeeb Ur Rahman is another to keep an eye on while the experienced Mohammad Nabi is a fine white-ball cricketer.

Australia won both of their warm-up matches – against England and Sri Lanka – while Afghanistan defeated Pakistan at Bristol before being obliterated by England at The Oval.
Sporting Index are expecting Aaron Finch’s men to be comfortable winners – with the supremacy market at 65-75, with a point awarded per run won by or 10pts per wicket won by.
Punters may also want to have a look at the total sixes market for this game; in the warm-up match between West Indies and New Zealand, Chris Gayle & Co struck 18 sixes on their way to 421 all out. In reply New Zealand hit 10 of their own for a total of 28 in the match.
Australia may not be on the same level as West Indies when it comes to raw power, but if David Warner gets going, you never know. Sporting Index don’t expect a repeat of that warm-up fixture with total sixes priced at 12-13.
As for fours, Sporting Index are expecting the boundary to be reached (not cleared) more than 40 times, with total fours priced at 43-46.
