A tall right-arm seamer, Sophie Munro made her debut for Yorkshire Diamonds in 2018 before cementing a position as a regular starter for Lightning in 2020.
Munro took 3 for 32 against Thunder in her opening game of the season and finished 2020 with four wickets and an economy of 4.43.
In 2021, Munro made six appearances in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, scoring 20 runs and taking six wickets, but made a bigger impression in the Charlotte Edwards Cup, scoring 53 middle-order runs at a strike rate of 126.19 and taking six wickets.
She represented London Spirit in the inaugural edition of The Hundred before moving to Trent Rockets ahead of the 2022 edition.
Munro has previously spent a summer playing cricket in Sydney and enjoys squash and skiing in her spare time.
