Spinner Olivia Thomas started her cricket journey at Heywood CC, following in the footsteps of teammate Kate Cross.

She made her senior debut for Lancashire against Nottinghamshire in 2019, dismissing England international Jenny Gunn.

She was awarded a Brian Johnston Memorial Trust scholarship in 2020.

Thomas has been a member of the England academy training group and made three appearances for Thunder last season, scoring 17 runs and picking up the wicket of Central Sparks opener Gwen Davies.
