Johannesburg native Michaela Kirk arrived in the Midlands for the 2021 season.
The batter has represented South African side Northerns since 2012 and made nine appearances in 2019 as they won the 50-over CSA Women's Provincial League.
Kirk, who holds dual British-South African nationality, dreams of playing for England at international level and names wicketkeeper-batter Sarah Taylor as her cricketing hero.
She made three appearances in the Charlotte Edwards Cup, scoring 18 runs, and scored 71 runs - including one half-century - in four Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy outings. However, her season was cut short by an injury sustained during The Hundred.
Kirk enjoys baking in her spare time.
