Sunrisers have three wicketkeeping options in their squad, with Rogers and Scarlett Hughes both teenagers of significant potential, whose games will only improve for learning from wicketkeeper-captain Amara Carr.

Unlike Hughes, Rogers made her debut in the inaugural Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, albeit without the gloves. In 2021, she featured on a more regular basis in the Charlotte Edwards Cup.

Rogers, who represents Berkshire in county cricket and began her cricketing life at local club Henley CC, made her debut in 2017 against Kent, before helping her side to Twenty20 Cup success two years later in Division 3A.
