Young batter Leah Dobson has been playing cricket since she was nine years old and soon established herself as one to watch, earning Yorkshire's Under-17s batter of the year award in 2018.

She made her Northern Diamonds debut in 2021, scoring 74 runs in five Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy outings and 111 runs in eight T20 matches, and made a further six appearances in 2022, including a valuable knock of 34 not out (50 balls) at Lord's.

One of Diamonds' professional cohort since the end of 2022, she classes scoring an unbeaten 161 off 81 balls in an Under-17s T20 match as one of her career highlights.
