Lightning captain Kathryn Bryce is a renowned international allrounder.
Making her debut for Scotland aged just 13 in 2011, she became captain of the national side in 2018 and was named ICC Associate Cricketer of the Decade in 2020.
She played six matches for Lightning in 2020, amassing a team-leading 14 wickets (including best figures of 5/29) with an economy of 3.88 and finishing third in the run-scoring charts (141 runs).
And she turned her List A performances up a notch in 2021, scoring the second-most runs in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy (353 at 50.42), including a monster knock of 162 against Central Sparks. She also picked up 10 wickets.
Her T20 batting wasn't quite as hot, yielding just 29 runs in three appearances, but she did pick up five wickets.
Bryce is a consistent performer, a level-headed captain, and is joined at Lightning by younger sister, Sarah.
