Josie Groves

Groves is a legspinner who made her senior debut for Northamptonshire in 2019

Role: Right-hand bat, right-arm leg-spin 

Leg-spinner Josie Groves was promoted from Lightning's academy for the 2022 season.  

She made her Lightning debut against South East Stars in the 2021 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, scoring two runs and returning figures of 0 for 59.  

Groves plays her county cricket for Northamptonshire, making her senior debut in 2019, and took seven wickets in the 2022 Women's County T20.
