Leg-spinner Josie Groves was promoted from the region's academy for the 2022 season after previously making her debut against South East Stars in the 2021 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.

Groves plays her county cricket for Northamptonshire, making her senior debut in 2019, and took seven wickets in the 2022 Women's County T20.

The teenager scored 62 runs and took five wickets in five matches in the 2022 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy. She made her Charlotte Edwards Cup debut in the same campaign.
