Role: Left-hand bat, left-arm medium

Central Sparks captain Eve Jones was involved in the Kia Super League from the beginning, representing Lancashire Thunder and Loughborough Lightning, but really came into her own following the regional restructuring in 2020.

In the inaugural Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, she scored 334 runs, including a top score of 115 not out, and followed it up with 575 runs in all competitions in 2021 – Sophie Luff (544 runs) was the only player to come close to matching her haul – and a further 437 runs in 2022. With her left-arm bowling, she has also taken eight wickets.

An opening batter, she often takes on the role of anchor in List A cricket, striking around the 65-70 mark, but ramps it up to above 100 in T20 cricket. She struck the fourth-most boundaries in the Charlotte Edwards Cup in 2022.

Jones has also represented Melbourne Renegades in the WBBL, Birmingham Phoenix in The Hundred and England A against Australia A.
