Tul Kubra is one of the best spinners in the Bangladesh side.

She currently sits as the highest ODI wicket-taker for her country, having taken 42 for her country. This included the best ODI bowling figures for a Bangladesh woman - 6-20 in 2018 against Pakistan - in the year in which she returned to the 50-over format after a five-year break.

Additionally, she became the only Bangladesh woman to take a five-wicket haul.

She also holds four of the top six best ODI bowling figures for Bangladesh Women, including 4-33 against South Africa.

Born in Bogra, Tul Kubra was picked up by coach Muslim Uddin and trained in one of his local cricket camps from a young age.

She made her debut at the age of 16 against Ireland in 2011, in Bangladesh’s first international game after being granted ODI status, and she has seen the rise of women’s cricket in the country from the outset.

From 78 appearances for Bangladesh she has taken over 80 wickets, resulting in her being the highest placed bowler for Bangladesh in the ICC ODI bowling rankings.
