The holder of the record for the fastest T20 century struck by a woman - 112 off a mere 38 balls against South Africa in 2010 - Dottin is one of the most dangerous batters in women’s cricket.

The impressive innings consisted of five fours and nine sixes, and was made from just eight balls more than Chris Gayle’s world record.

A middle-order batter with an evidently aggressive batting style that sees her determined to send every ball out of the ground, the Barbados-born allrounder is also a handy fast bowler who can be very useful towards the death.

Her best bowling figures came in the T20 World Cup in 2018 - a haul of 5-5 against Bangladesh.

In that same tournament she was the Windies’ leading runscorer and wicket-taker.

Another one of the women from the Caribbean who was a talented athlete as well as excelling at cricket, Dotting won countless medals up until the age of 17.

After making her international debut in 2008, on the tour to Ireland, her game has gone from strength to strength.

A first example of her capacity for explosive performances came in 2009, striking her first international half-century off just 22 balls in the 2009 World Twenty20.

Then, in 2011, her 95 in the final of the 50-over World Cup qualifier ensured that West Indies were part of the tournament in India.

When West Indies made their first global tournament final - at the 2013 World Cup which Ditton had been vital in helping them  reach - it was again thanks to her destructive batting style, as she made 60 off 67 balls in their penultimate match against Australia.

Her success led to her being included in the inaugural Women's Big Bash as part of the Perth Scorchers squad.

The experience she gained here helped her play an integral part in West Indies winning the 2016 T20 World Cup, where she took 2-33 in the final.

A stint with Brisbane Heat for the second season of WBBL followed, and she made an excellent first impression - producing a match-winning 60 from 44 balls.

Her domestic career has also took Dottin to the UK, where she has been part of the Kia Superleague, at Lancashire Thunder in 2016 alongside Hayley Matthews.

She is a popular member within the squad, regarded as the joker in the dressing room, but has a face of steel when out in the middle.
