The 30-year old batter from Trinidad will forever hold one moment of her cricketing career particularly fondly in her heart.

Cooper stole a second run off an overthrow and hit the winning runs in the 2016 T20 World Cup final over Australia to hand Windies their maiden global tournament title.

In this tournament she also top scored in the semi-final against New Zealand, scoring 61 off 48 balls, helping her side on their way to victory of the tournament.

Making her debut over 10 years ago in South Africa, she has been in and around the side since 2009.

With over 100 appearances for West Indies, she is a very experienced player and has featured in domestic competitions all around the world and in different global tournaments.

It is not just her batting that is highly regarded; Cooper is known in the squad for incredibly agile fielding too.

Even though she is not a constant member of the side, when an opportunity comes, she makes an impact.
