Anam Amin has established herself as one of Pakistan’s regular members of the team since her T20I debut in 2014 against Bangladesh.

She had made 48 T20I appearances as of January 26, 2020, taking 47 wickets at an average of 19.68, with an economy rate of 5.30 and best figures of 4-16.

Amin has a vast amount of cricket experience outside of the Pakistan women’s team.

She has represented and performed well for PCB Dynamites, PCB Challengers, Lahore Women, PCB Blasters and State Bank of Pakistan Women.

The majority of her experience outside of the national team has come in domestic cricket and she has played many matches in the National Triangular T20 Women’s Cricket Championship in Pakistan.

She was named in Pakistan’s squad for the 2018 T20 World Cup and was identified as one of the players to watch ahead of the tournament.

However, she had a disappointing campaign, recording figures of 0-34 against Australia and 0-27 against India before being dropped for the remaining two games prior to Pakistan’s group-stage exit.

Despite this, Amin continues to offer Pakistan great skill and determination with the ball and many Pakistan fans will hope to see her feature in the upcoming tournament.
