Allrounder Aliya Riaz had represented Pakistan on 65 occasions, 38 of them being in T20Is, as of January 26, 2020.

Having impressed selectors with her genuine all-round cricket ability, she made her T20I debut in August 2014 against Australia.

Since then in her 38 T20Is to January 26, 2020, she had scored 370 runs at an average of 16.08, a strike rate of 87.67 and a high score of 35 not out.

With the ball she had taken 15 wickets at an economy rate of 7.61, and with best figures of 2-16.

Riaz has experience of playing in a T20 World Cup as she featured for Pakistan in the 2018 competition in the Caribbean.

She finished the tournament as the leading wicket-taker for Pakistan, with six in four matches.

With the ball, she is consistent with line and length, and capable of testing the footwork of the batsman with her variations.
