Achini Kulasuriya made her T20I debut against New Zealand in November 2015 and has played eight T20Is (as of January 30, 2020).

In her T20I career to that point she has taken two wickets at an average of 80, with an economy rate of 8.88 with best figures of 1-14.

Her T20I statistics are not representative of her ability but her ODI figures closer show her skillset in international cricket.

In her 11 ODIs, she has six wickets at an average of 55, with an economy rate of 5.23 and best figures of 3-50.

Kulasuriya has impressed in domestic cricket and, alongside playing for Sri Lanka, she has also represented North Central Province Women, Ruhuna Province Women, Sri Lanka A Women and Sri Lanka Army Sports Club.

If Kulasuriya is to continue to challenge herself in international cricket, the opportunity to consistently play with Sri Lanka’s strongest players will stand her in good stead for her international career and in particular the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia.
