West Indies have been heavily hit by injuries and absences ahead of their limited overs international series in New Zealand.
Injuries have forced the tourists into making three changes for their ODI squad, while spinner Sunil Narine is out of the T20 party due to personal reasons.
Sunil Ambris, Alzarri Joseph and Marlon Samuels have all withdrawn from the 50-over side.
Ambris, who endured a nightmare debut Test series, sustained a broken arm during the second innings of the second match at Seddon Park this week, and he has been joined on the sidelins by Joseph and Samuels.
Seamer Joseph has picked up a back problem while Samuels has sustained an injury to the ring finger of his right hand.
They have been replaced in the squad by Shimron Hetmyer, Sheldon Cottrell and Chadwick Walton ahead of the first match in Whangarei on Wednesday.
Ashley Nurse has been drafted into the T20 squad in place of Narine.
