Birmingham Phoenix line up against Southern Brave in the eighth game of the men’s Hundred 2022.
The game is due to start at 6.30pm BST on Wednesday, August 10.
The iconic Edgbaston returns, with this being the first game played here in the tournament. The crowd is normally very lively so expect a good atmosphere if you’ve got tickets.
This one's fairly straightforward after one game each.
The Southern Brave got off to an excellent start, thumping Welsh Fire by nine wickets in the opening game of the tournament. England internationals Craig Overton and Chris Jordan were the pick of the bowlers, both taking two wickets.
But the star of the show was skipper James Vince who scored 71 runs off just 41 balls, consisting of eight fours and one six. The calm and collected manner in which he played his innings made sure that his team reached the target of 107 with 31 balls to spare.
On the other hand, Birmingham Phoenix showed promise in their first game but ultimately fell short against Trent Rockets.
Both Moeen Ali and Liam Livingstone had encouraging performances, as they hit 35 off 21 and 47 off 28 respectively. However, the rest of their batting lineup failed to fire and left Trent Rockets with an easy target to chase.

There is doubt as to whether Adam Milne will make an appearance for Birmingham Phoenix, as he is returning from an injury. Southern Brave are looking stronger with the arrival of Quinton de Kock who returns after missing the first match.
Livingstone and Ali will need to show the same form they did against Trent Rockets to post a competitive total. Livingstone hit three consecutive sixes last time out, and will therefore be a tough challenge for death bowlers Chris Jordan and Mills.
The return of De Kock for Southern Brave is a massive bonus, who will be looking to form a strong opening partnership with James Vince.
However, they will be faced with some strong resistance from Tom Helm who showed promise for Phoenix, conceding just 11 runs in 12 balls against Trent Rockets.
Ticket are widely available for the match.

It's a rematch of last year’s final, however, the teams have experienced different starts to this year’s tournament.
The Phoenix’s bowling attack needs to improve, as they lacked a clinical edge in their last match which made the run chase very easy for the Rockets.
Southern Brave were very impressive, even if it was against wooden spoon contenders Welsh Fire, and so it will take something special if they are to be beaten. Away win.
