The June issue of The Cricketer Magazine hit the newsstand today with a resounding thump. Our hugely popular flagship title has seen subscriptions growing at their fastest rate for a decade and with no fewer than five past and present England captains contributing to the latest issue, it’s no wonder why.

In fact, The Cricketer audience is growing exponentially across the business, with 300,000 unique users now visiting the website every month. The ethos of our digital output has always been to avoid creating cheap ‘clickbait’ stories and to invest in quality journalism. This strategy has realised more people coming to the site each month, revisiting more often and browsing the site for longer.

Our social media platforms have also enjoyed significant growth with a Facebook audience of 675,000, plus 117,000 followers on Twitter and 40,000 on Instagram.

This combined digital audience of over one million are loyal and, as can be seen below, extremely receptive to the clients we endorse, who benefit from industry leading engagement on their promotions:

Average advertising engagement on The Cricketer website: 0.40%
*Industry average – 0.05%

Average engagement with client promotions on Twitter: 2.51%
* Industry average – 0.046%

Average engagement with client promotions on Facebook: 3.47%
