England release Sarah Glenn and Freya Davies from Test squad

The squad has now been trimmed to 15, meaning the pair will be allowed to turn our for Central Sparks and South East Stars in the fourth round of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy on Saturday

Sarah Glenn and Freya Davies will be available to their regional hubs this weekend after being released from the England Test squad.

Allrounder Glenn and seamer Davies were initially included in a 17-strong group in preparation for the Test against India at Bristol next week.

However, that squad has now been trimmed to 15, meaning the pair will be allowed to turn our for Central Sparks and South East Stars in the fourth round of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy on Saturday.

"Sarah Glenn and Freya Davies have been released from the England Women's Test squad and will both play for their regional teams in this weekend's Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy matches - in preparation for the ODI series that follows," an ECB statement read.

Sparks take on North West Thunder in Loughborough, while Stars face Northern Diamonds at Headingley.
