Smale classes Alyssa Healy and Jos Buttler as her cricketing heroes and played tennis at national level as a junior

Opening batter and wicketkeeper Seren Smale made her debut for Thunder in September 2021, aged 16, and went on to score 25 runs in three Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy appearances that season.  

The Wales native, who plays her club cricket Buckley CC in Flintshire, also represented Cheshire and Cumbria on the county circuit.  

She classes Alyssa Healy and Jos Buttler as her cricketing heroes and played tennis at national level as a junior.
