Hankins has a background in cricket gaming that will serve him well in this competition... but mainly he just wants to beat his old Millfield School friend Tom Moores
Strengths: Hankins regards himself as one of the more active gamers in the competition.
Spells on FIFA and Call of Duty make him a "semi-regular" player but he is restricted to spells exclusively at the weekend.
Weaknesses: Though he owns Cricket 19, he is yet to really give the game a proper go. "I haven't actually played it loads so it could be interesting!"
Form: The Gloucestershire man has good experience with cricket games, having previous dabbled in Cricket 07 on some of the older PlayStation consoles.
He has already played Don Bradman Cricket too, giving his gaming CV another layer of credibility.
Self-assessment: Despite the opportunity to land a telling blow against some of his county rivals, Hankins is playing down his chances.
"It'll be a good laugh for a few weeks," he says.
Prediction: Though coy about his chances, Hankins has to be considered a strong contender.
There is also little doubt about the clash of the group stage, when Hankins goes up against old Millfield School friend Tom Moores of Nottinghamshire.
