Tom Moores is loving his first experience of the Pakistan Super League with Multan Sultans.
Moores, the 22-year-old English wicketkeeper, is preparing for the Sultans’ first game of the season against Karachi Kings on Friday at the team’s training camp in Dubai.
And he says that he is learning every day.
“Obviously it’s a world-renowned tournament and this is one of the biggest franchises you can play in,” Moores said.
“You’re mixing with the best in the world, it’s an unbelievable experience.

“Over the next four weeks I’m going to face a lot of high-quality bowling but I’m ready for it.”
Moores has been busy since the end of the 2018 English domestic season, playing for Punjabi Legends in the T10 League and linking up with England Lions in India.
The chance to play alongside some heroes of Pakistani cricket, however, is perhaps the biggest thrill of the lot.
“We’ve got some great players – Shoaib and Afridi – so I’m sure we’ll have a great following when we go out to Pakistan, and I’m really looking forward to the experience of playing in a country I’ve never played before,” he said.
“You come out here and throw yourself into it. I’m trying to bring my expertise but I’m learning too, and hopefully I’ll be able to win a few games for the team.”
