Ross Taylor has become New Zealand's most prolific Test runscorer.
The 35-year-old surpassed previous record holder Stephen Fleming during the Blackcaps' defeat by Australia in the third and final Test at the SCG on Monday.
Taylor, playing in his 99th Test, made 22 in the second innings to move to 7,174 runs in format - two ahead of Fleming. He averages 46.58.
He later posted on social media: "It was a dream to play one Test - but to achieve the all-time NZ runs record is truly humbling. Thanks to everyone who's helped me along the way!"

Taylor, who also holds the Kiwi ODI run record, does not have any intention to call and end to his playing days just yet.
"I definitely don't have an end date," he said.
"As everyone tells me you're a long time retired and you'll know when the best time is to retire. I just take it a couple of months at a time. I don't look too far ahead, but all going well I've hopefully got a couple of years left with the New Zealand team."
Taylor's record-breaking day did not end on a happy note, however, as his side were bundled out for 136 in their second innings to lose by 279 runs, and the series 3-0.
