Men's Hundred wildcard draft confirmed for July 2

(-) - Sam Hain: The Birmingham Bears batter has carried over his form from the 2020 Blast during which he averaged in the 50s. Three fifties in four games sees his average stand at *checks notes* 103. Oh boy.

(-) - Sam Cook: The undervalued arm of Essex's red-ball success in recent years but has taken that into the start of the Blast. Key has been the volume of new ball wickets, having already picked up D'Arcy Short, James Vince, Tom Banton and James Hildreth at an economy rate of six.

(-) - Fred Klaassen: Took 13 wickets for the Spitfires last term but has produced a much-improved return in 2021. His 4 for 32 against Hampshire was a stellar piece of middle-overs bowling.

(-) - Jordan Thompson: The Yorkshire quick has taken his encouraging first-class form into the 20-over format. Adept at virtually all stages of the innings and caught two of his own bowling against Durham.

(-) - Jack Leaning: Smashed 81 not out from 51 balls against Gloucestershire having hit 64 two days previous against Middlesex. Not just that double-century record-breaker.

(-) - Gavin Griffiths: Another who has delivered new ball wickets, picking up Liam Livingstone and Alex Davies in successive deliveries against Lancashire. The Foxes might be open to giving him for a go with the bat, having scored at 200 from six deliveries.

(-) - Gareth Batty: Because why not? Played a role in Surrey reaching lasts year's final and has been frugal so far this term, going at just 5.60 from his 10 overs. A 43-year-old in a young man's game would be excellent.

(-) - Jake Lintott: Produced the Blast's second-best figures against Northants and his left-arm leg-spin will not go unnoticed by the eight sides. A strong contender assuming he builds from here.

(-) - Dan Moriarty: Surrey's route to Finals Day was inspired by the Jacks-Moriarty spin axis, but the latter doesn't have a Hundred deal. A return to form against Glamorgan took his T20 wicket tally to 21 in 16 games.

(-) - Jordan Cox: Another member of the Kent middle-order fireworks display. Scoring rate could do with an improvement but all the tools are there.

Jake Lintott will have piqued the interest of The Hundred analysts

(-) - Darren Stevens: We've suffered enough over the last 16 months; it's time for our reward. Inject.

(-) - Ben Sanderson: An intriguing possibility given his ability to hit the right lines and lengths. An intelligent operator but not one who is blessed with extreme pace.

(-) - Archie Lenham: The Blast's second youngest ever player and not just here for the ride. Claimed 3 for 14 on just his second outing against Hants via his leg-spin, giving him the edge over his compatriots.

(-) - Stevie Eskinazi: "Extremely disappointed" to miss out on a Hundred deal but takes plenty of credit from last term's 413 runs in 10 innings. Yet to find his best form this season.

(-) - Joe Weatherley: Doesn't possess a stellar T20 record but has made a good start to the competition this time around with three decent scores out of four.
